Job Description

DefinedTalent is proud to be supporting an IT organization that helps ignite IT strategy with technology solutions and support to help optimize business performance, engagement, and compliance.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Hybrid), you will be responsible for supporting and improving how our company attracts and selects candidates. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, your responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist by scheduling candidate interviews, reviewing resumes, documentation, communicating with potential candidates, and maintaining databases with updated information. You will work alongside the Sr Talent Specialist and will assist in the overall recruiting process. If you have previous experience in recruiting, understanding the recruiting process, including sourcing, interview coordination, and screening, we’d like to meet and learn more about you. We need someone with the ability to multitask and be organized to keep our hiring process smooth and ensure that candidates have a positive experience.

***Hybrid Opportunity - Mostly Remote with occasional time onsite for team events or meetings ***

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Support candidate screening and hiring processes by reviewing resumes and job applications.
  • Maintain and update ADP to keep track of applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments, and interview evaluations.
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-screenings and interviews with the Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist and Managers.
  • Send follow-up emails to candidates.
  • Promote and embody the company’s culture by providing a high level of customer service and by creating a positive recruiting experience.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator, HR Assistant or similar role
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems / resume databases - experience in ADP is a bonus!
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience communicating with team members and keeping track of documentation through Microsoft Teams
  • Understanding of recruiting process, policies, procedures, and best practices

This opportunity is a 3-month contract to hire. The hourly rate for this position is between $20-25/ hour.

When set to full time role, the final salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
