About Energy Co-op of Vermont
The Energy Co-op of Vermont began accepting members in July 2001. Today, they serve over 2,500 of our neighbors in northwest and central Vermont. As a not-for-profit Cooperative, Energy Co-op of Vermont is owned by their members. So when you join the Co-op and purchase products and services from us, you're not just a customer, you're an owner! Energy Co-op of Vermont’s tag line is Use Less, Save More. Their goal is to help members reduce their energy costs by using less fossil fuel and help them transition to renewable fuels where it makes sense. This is an odd goal for a company that delivers heating oil and kerosene. This is what makes them a different kind of energy company. When you join the Energy Co-op they provide the knowledge, expertise and services to help customers reduce their carbon footprint and make their home as energy efficient as possible. Energy Co-op of Vermont delivers heating oil, kerosene and local Vermont wood pellets. They provide members and customers with heating system installations, maintenance, and repairs. They install super-efficient, cold-climate heat pumps and heat pump water heaters and offer low-cost energy audits and complete home energy upgrades.
