Job Description
Ultimate Care NY, a leading home health care provider in New York, is looking for a qualified Senior Billing and Collections Manager to join our team. As the Senior Billing and Collections Manager, you will play an integral role in ensuring the financial health of our company by managing our billing and collections department. You will be responsible for overseeing the billing and collections process for all of our clients, including insurance verification, claims processing, and collections management. In addition to managing our billing and collections team, you will work closely with our finance and operations departments to implement best practices and strategies to streamline our billing and collections processes. With your expertise, you will help us maintain a high level of financial stability and ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality care to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing and collections department
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and claims processing for all clients
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiencies and streamline processes
- Supervise and mentor billing and collections team members
- Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivables and collections
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Oversee insurance verification and authorization processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and collections
- Strong knowledge of billing regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
