Procurement Analyst

ALTIVIA is seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst for our Dunbar, WV, location. This position will provide the management team with data analytics and cost tracking for the site. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Assist accounts payable to identify related purchasing documents for any incoming invoice
• Monitors requisitions to ensure timely approval
• Create POs for any approved requisitions
• Monitors receipts and follows up on any overdue or outstanding receipts to ensure timely closure of PO line items
• Sets up new vendors and works with accounting to provide standard credit references and share typically requested information in an efficient and consistent manner
• Creates purchasing master data with the goal of minimizing non-inventory procurement
• Monitors any purchasing non-conformances via controls reports to be created; helps to steward purchasing KPIs at the local level and provides local updates to the Site Manager and VP of Manufacturing
• Tracking committed spend and outstanding purchasing milestones
• Data analysis
• Vendor relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field preferred
• Previous purchasing experience preferred
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization
• Computer proficiency and efficient data entry
• Proficient with excel
• Familiar with replenishment and MRO
• Proactive and good communicator
