What you'll do- Title Examiner Associate for national refinance and purchase transactions, will be responsible for:
- Ordering title searches from third party vendors;
- Obtaining and communicating status of third party vendor searches;
- Produce title commitments from title search reports;
- Exam search packages in multiple States to create Title Commitments;
- Verify vesting, legal description and correct property was searched;
- Review and certify deed chain;
- Exam tax/assessment records associated with specific property;
- Examine title documents to determine the legal condition of the property, including: deeds, mortgages, liens, judgements, vital statistics, and plat and map to determine ownership, and encumbrances to verify legal description of the property.
- Determine the impact of any recorded instrument in the chain of title such as deeds, liens, judgments, etc.
- Outline any title curative issues required and/or identify any senior interest
- Set out all exceptions and requirements including: trusts,probates,divorces,LLC/LLPs,Liens
- Communicating in a collaborative manner across the exam team
What we're looking for - Minimum of 1 year of exam (reading) experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt to change.

- Communicate ways that technology can solve pain points in the examination process
