Mitchell Lewis amp; Staver is looking for a friendly and dedicated Warehouse III professional to join our team. Our company is passionate about providing innovative and sustainable water solutions that conserve energy and natural resources through application-specific pumping systems, electronic controls, and packaged systems. As a Warehouse III, you will play a vital role in ensuring our company’s success by coordinating daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency in our warehouse.
You'll be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies and collaborating with LTL, ground carriers, customer service representatives and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. This position will report into the Branch Manager.
Requirements
- Daily shipping and receiving includes processing packing slips, stocking shelves, pulling parts for shipment, kitting for production and preparing product for shipment
- Monitor inventory and execute cycle count program
- Complete daily forklift maintenance checklist and ensure all scheduled maintenance activities are completed on time
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment, ensure compliance with workplace policies
- Understand shipping vendor software and associated paperwork
- Perform basic inquiries into ERP system
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Configure shipment loads for LTL, assist delivery driver prepping daily deliveries
- Document damaged freight, file and follow up on freight claims
- Work with branch manager to meet budget for warehouse expenses
- Make safety, repair and efficiency recommendations to management
- Receive purchase orders, match invoices, processes receipts in ERP system, sorts and stocks receivables
- Stand in as backup driver for deliveries
- Make inventory recommendations to management and purchasing
- Perform other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
Experience Required
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or shipping and receiving position
- 1-3 years of experience in LTL (less than truckload), product handling
- 1+ year of experience driving a delivery vehicle
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Intermediate knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite and ERP system
- Experience in basic mechanical work and machinery
- Experience in application of basic math

Education Required
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license and have a driving record in good standing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime
Work Environment
- Must live within an agreed upon location/ geography to service customers and employees
- This position’s job duties are generally performed in a shop or warehouse-type environment
- This position may be exposed to loud noises from operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals and vapors, work involving manufactured parts, assembly, and heavy machinery
- This position is not eligible for telework
