Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

Essential Functions: An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Prepare and execute employee Job Change letters through DocuSign and Payroll.
  • Maintain and execute all new hire processes through start date according to the New Hire Checklist.
  • Enter new hires into UKG.
  • Send new hire amp; termination emails.
  • Maintain and execute all termination processes according to the Termination Checklist.
  • Maintenance of employee information within AX, D365 and UKG in partnership with Payroll.
  • Maintain Org Charts.
  • Serve as the liaison between Regions for HR Managers and Directors.
  • Back up for New Hire Orientation.
  • Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiency.
  • Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.
  • Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (e.g. Management, Business Administration,) or 5 years relevant work experience in the field or related area that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job.
  • Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
  • Commitment to open door and comfort with production floor presence and contact with all field employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company practices for maximum effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Key leadership competencies in addition to high ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, building effective teams, and action orientation are fundamental imperatives.

Physical Activities: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, move up and down stairs, use hands and arms to handle, feel and reach, push, pull bend and twist. Read information, often in small print. Enter and locate information on a computer system or communication device. Write documents, reports etc. using a writing instrument (e.g., pencil, pen) or computer. Operate a variety of automated office machines including calculator, copier, computer, telephone, fax machine etc.

Working Conditions: This position is in an office environment with moderate to low noise levels and is typically sedentary. Daily use of a computer and phone system is necessary as well as interaction with staff, candidates and vendors. Work indoors for extended periods of time.
