We are looking for Lead Data Analyst to join the team. This individual will play a key role in helping to leverage data to drive operational, business, and patient safety related decisions. Key Duties amp; Accountabilities:
- Timely triage operational and project tasks, communicate with leaders of business units on deliverables and timelines and seek guidance from direct manager, Head of Advanced Analytics when needed
- Mentor junior analysts on the team and guide priority setting and research amp; analytics methodologies
- Develop and maintain effective relationships across CRICO departments and with external members amp; clients
- Develop, maintain, and document knowledge in customer support, risk management, patient safety and loss prevention activities, insurance operations, and reflect understanding back via analytical work
- Identify, explore, communicate, and resolve issues surrounding analytic processes and data quality
- Partner with CRICO internal colleagues (Patient Safety, CRICO Strategies, Claims, Underwriting, Finance), business users (CRICO’s member institutions and non-member clients) to understand business problems, define requirements, develop analytics methods amp; plan, and execute against them to ensure timely and quality delivery of results and insights in serving CRICO, CRICO’s members and Candello clients
- Generate analyses ideas and methodology proposals
- Gather context and discuss requirements for analyses
- Follow policies relating to privacy and security, and obtain necessary signoffs
- Design queries, gather data, and create reports and graphics in response to regular and ad hoc requests
- Synthesize and interpret data/results to make appropriate conclusions and relevant insights
- Validate results to ensure accuracy before presenting them to the requester
- Present findings to internal and external stakeholders when needed
- Serve as a sounding board for peers and customers needing guidance in data analytics or methodology inquires
- Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects as required

Knowledge: Education, Experience, amp; Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with 3-5 year’s relevant experience in analytics, Business Intelligence development, Operations, or Information Systems
- Experience in mentoring or managing junior staff or interest in growing into a managerial role
- Knowledge and skills in visualization software and dashboard development tools (such as Power BI, Tableau) is required
- Knowledge of relational databases and familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) is preferred
- Experience in healthcare, insurance industry, or health policy is preferred
- Project management skill/experience a plus
