The Finance and Capital Markets (FCM) team has two focus areas: Capital Markets and Financial Planning amp; Analysis (FPamp;A). The Capital Markets team deals with capital raising (project finance, tax equity, corporate revolvers, etc.), and the FPamp;A team partners with internal stakeholders to set budgets (revenues, expenses, EBITDA, capex, equity capital needs, etc.) and track/report performance to the executive committee, board, and equity investor(s).


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain the pro-forma financial projections across operating assets and projects in advanced development on a deal-by-deal and aggregate basis; articulate the story behind the drivers of growth, risk factors and volatility.
  • Support the quarterly/annual corporate budgeting exercise; prepare financial budget/forecast and analyze actual performance against budget.
  • Support the development and delivery of quarterly/annual reporting packages for the Executive Committee, board and equity investor(s).
  • Report key financial KPIs vs. projections; articulate key growth drivers, revenue segmentation, volatility, portfolio sensitivities and downside risks.
  • Provide support to the Accounting and Tax team to prepare financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain robust valuation methodologies with key defensible assumption driving the pro- forma financials; oversight of valuation at the project and overall portfolio level.
  • Partner with diverse internal stakeholders -- Asset Management, Portfolio Strategy and Compliance, Sales, Legal, Mamp;A, Regulatory and Government Affairs (RAGA), Analytics, Commercial Operations, Project Execution, Procurement, Accounting and Tax -- and external consultants to manage all financial aspects of the operating assets and assets under construction.
  • Support the tracking/forecasting of Letter of Credit needs across the portfolio, and partner with external stakeholders to issue Letter of Credits on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Proven team player collaborating with diverse internal teams Asset Management, Portfolio Strategy and Compliance, Sales, Legal, Mamp;A, Regulatory and Government Affairs (RAGA), Analytics, Commercial Operations, Project Execution, Procurement, Accounting and Tax, etc. and external consultants (IE, insurance/market consultants, appraisers, cost-seg) to deliver structured yet streamlined financing solutions along with optimal risk allocation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to concisely present information to senior management and third parties.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Advanced modelling capabilities with ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Build and present PowerPoint presentations.
  • Intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $80,000- $95,000 ; Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience.
