We are building a community for creators with the help of creators! Happier is looking for professional Server Captains, Food Runners, Barbacks, Server Assistants, Hosts, and Bartenders who are passionate about the art of hospitality to join our team! Our ideal candidate is an individual knowledgeable about various styles and cuisines. You should pride yourself on flawless execution, providing exceptional table service, and maintaining table appearance. All applicants must have experience working in a delicate, elevated dining environment.

The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. Private events at 99 Scott amp; WSA Building, scheduled for this Spring, will allow the new team to become a cohesive unit and shape a clear vision and understanding of the Happier brand before the planned launch.

These are FT positions, and you must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Its raw minimalist architecture and pragmatic design set the tone for an environment to work, create, exercise, nourish, connect, and escape. 154 Scott is a private membership club where an inclusive spirit orients exclusive access. 30,000 sq. ft of facilities, comprised of workspaces, art studios, recording studios, conference rooms, private bars and a restaurant, a Wellness Spa amp; Gym, a pool, and a rooftop deck. A consciously cultivated community connecting people of different ages, backgrounds, professions, and identities. Opening Memorial Day 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Create HAPPIER experience for all guests, members, and coworkers
  • Direct floor staff to ensure the fulfillment of Happier steps of service and hospitality standards
  • Lead floor service, ensuring that it runs smoothly and that the team is working efficiently and effectively
  • Facilitate communication between floor staff and kitchen
  • Problem-solve guest incidents or complaints (service issues, spills, check disputes, etc.)
  • Consistently helps create memorable experiences for our guests by personalizing service
  • Recognize and engage with regulars and VIP guests to make them feel a part of the family
  • Host the guests’ complete dining experience
  • Retrieve and input Famp;B orders accurately
  • Ensure proper table maintenance, including mise-en-place
  • Ensure payment is completed for each guest
  • Acknowledge and complete special requests
  • Lead assigned back server throughout service
  • Maintain professional and consistent communication with leadership
  • Support business in all areas of 154 space as needed
  • Participate in executing on-site events as needed
  • Complete assigned side work
  • Responsible for knowing the full menu, including the full wine list
  • Familiar with the industry's best practices, including the Department of Health standards

Requirements

  • Prior fine-dining experience (2+ years required)
  • Energetic and team-oriented
  • Extensive knowledge of wine and beverage pairings
  • Extensive knowledge of beer and liquor
  • Knowledge about a variety of cuisines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Reliable, dependable, and responsible
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to learn new and exciting things
  • Experience with Aloha, Toast, Micros, or a similar POS system
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time


Pay: $10/hr - $25/hr + tips
