About the Role:
Canary Technologies is seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Lead to join our dynamic marketing team. As the Content Marketing Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our content strategy to drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and generate leads within the hotel technology industry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the content direction for a rapidly growing company.Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives in the B2B SaaS hotel technology sector.
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, website copy, email campaigns, social media content, videos, and other marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to understand product features, benefits, and customer pain points to effectively communicate them through content.
  • Manage external copywriters for blogs, white papers, etc.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in hotel technology to ensure content relevance and thought leadership.
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of content that resonates with the target audience across various channels and formats.
  • Optimize content for SEO and collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate keywords and improve search rankings.
  • Monitor content performance, track key metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of content marketing efforts.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine content strategies and optimize content distribution channels for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Nurture and grow a network of industry influencers, thought leaders, and partners to amplify content reach and establish the company as a trusted authority in the hotel technology space.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging content marketing techniques to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in content marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with content marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and leverage insights to drive content strategy and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, solve problems, and take a proactive approach to achieve results.
