Sono Bello is seeking an IT Security amp; Compliance Analyst to join our team at our successful and rapidly growing company. We are seeking an IT Security amp; Compliance Analyst to create and maintain security standards; to provide comprehensive reviews and recommendations to ensure sensitive information, applications, and endpoints (systems and assets) are thoroughly protected; to review and work with existing toolsets, make recommendations, and deploy systems to enhance security operations; to work as a senior team member of IT professionals to provide tier III escalated support. Responsible for asset security and management of all end points.
The ideal candidate must have analytical and proven hands-on project and technical skills to deliver technical solutions as well as excellent documentation. Previous experience in Cyber Security and compliance needed. This critical, highly visible position reports directly to our VP of Technology and indirectly to our Chief Operating Officer.
Requirements
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, support and IT control and compliance status reporting to the company to build awareness of and promote a progressive and sustainable compliance culture.
- Design, implement, and oversee execution of the IT controls program including periodic control testing (e.g., design and effectiveness) sufficient to meet regulatory requirements and to satisfaction of internal/external auditors.
- Conduct periodic assessments and penetration tests and remediate findings.
- Proactively monitor the environment and online security resources to help detect and mitigate cyber-attacks before they occur.
- Prepare reports that document security and compliance incidents.
- Manage compliance against cybersecurity frameworks.
- Assess new system and security technology to determine potential value for the enterprise.
- Work with the core IT team to implement best practices for patching, disaster recovery plans, incident response, group policy, O365, and backup strategies.
- Provide extended support in an on-call rotation.
As an ambassador for the Sono Bello IT department, always:
- Communicates in a friendly and professional manner.
- Supplies regular status updates on all issues through completion.
- Provides proactive solutions when a pattern of issues is found.
- Creates a partnership with all internal and external contacts.
Qualifications:
- 2 Years’ experience as a security analyst or related position
- 2 Years’ experience in a system engineering or network engineering position
- 2 Years’ experience supporting employee technology needs.
- 1-2 Years’ experience installing and supporting PC and/or Mac onsite and remote.
- Working knowledge of various cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), SOC2, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability), etc.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
- Excellent prioritization and project development skills
- Ability to pivot from one project/task to another, maximizing efficiency.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent note taking skills, building documentation for yourself and Knowledge Base
- Comfortable supporting executives in a professional business environment

At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000, depending on experience.
