Job Description

This role will be to oversee the daily functions of a multi-provider MD/OD team and maintain a cohesive approach for patient, staff, and provider support. The team supervisor will be responsible for ensuring team clinic flow, excellent patient service, and all related tasks are completed. Requires direct communications with supervisors, providers, and team members to set proper expectations, problem-solve for solutions, and disseminate the information for meeting those expectations. The Technician Team Supervisor will establish a rapport with patients and promote the services of Northwest Eye Surgeons while maintaining excellent care and customer service. This position is based out of our Seattle-Northgate clinic.

  • Providing technical leadership and supervision of the clinic technical staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining an effective operating environment that delivers effective, efficient, and safe operations of the practice and responds to patients, staff, and physician needs.
  • Overseeing clinic flow including patient visit process and triage, adherence to policies and procedures, clinical regulatory compliance, and facilities maintenance.
  • Supervising clinic employees on patient-focused care and providing excellent customer service through staff development and performance management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership performance within work experience; 1-2 years supervisor/management experience preferred.
  • Minimum, high school diploma or general education degree. and a minimum 6 months of post-secondary education and/or training
  • Demonstrate a high degree of management competency; including but not limited to leadership, collaboration, negotiation, motivational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrate excellence in communication skills- demonstrated ability to convey ideas and information verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of organizational and analytical skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Extensive PC knowledge and skills.
