We opened our Headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand in 2016 and have grown quickly with US offices in San Diego, California, Charlotte, North Carlina, and several employees working remotely across the US. This is a hybrid or fully remote role based on your location and proximity to our office locations.

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is a pivotal role acting as the liaison between Whip Around and its ecosystem of partners. This role will build, maintain and grow long-term relationships with current and prospective partners. Through developing go-to-market strategies and executing on demand-generation activities the Strategic Partnerships Manager will establish and execute on revenue growth opportunities.

Requirements:

Overall, the Strategic Partnerships Manager serves as the key point of contact for channel partners, driving Whip Around's sales, marketing and technical resources to help partners grow revenue.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing relationships with marketing, sales and senior executives at our partner organizations to increase reseller and referral sales for Whip Around.
  • Vetting and distributing partnership inbound and outbound leads to and from partners.
  • Building effective, productive and profitable working relationships with partners in our ecosystem.
  • Providing product and technical support to partners.
  • Addressing partner concerns and queries promptly and ensuring partner satisfaction.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop business plans and strategies to improve sales and profitability.
  • Working with development, marketing and services teams to achieve revenue goals.
  • Coordinating with partners to prioritize, plan and manage business activities.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the partner’s marketing plans and recommending improvements.
  • Overseeing, implementing and suggesting improvements to partner rewards and recognition programs.

You’ll need to have

  • Experience working in the fleet industry, high growth Saas companies; is an added bonus.
  • Experience in account management and business development
  • Experience working in and building out tech partner ecosystems
  • Experience leading and building high performing teams in the partner space

You’ll be helping companies achieve goals like reducing operational costs, increasing safety on the roads and zero waste initiatives. You’ll be working alongside some talented Product and Engineering individuals, where learning opportunities are endless.
