Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Technical Software Sales Engineer brings industry experience, technical ability and an in-depth knowledge of the entire Uncode.io integrated product suite to our single and multifamily sales teams. This role assists the sales team in selling the value, features and benefits of an integrated product solution and works closely with account executives, product sales and marketing managers, and client success managers to assess prospective and existing client needs and solution offerings that provide the best returns.
  • This role must be able to effectively articulate the Company's value proposition and expand deals through providing solutions for our clients that meet their business needs. Successful interaction with other internal teams in order to communicate our client business demands and implementation challenges is a critical part of the job.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivers value to our clients by being the technical pre-sales engineering expert and provide support to our sales organization regarding our products and services.
  • Works with our clients to ensure that our solutions and services meet their business objectives as their trusted technical advisor.
  • Seeks to become a trusted advisor for our clients while advocating our custom solutions.
  • Provide technical design and implementation expertise, guidance and support to account teams, management, and clients regarding our solution and service offerings.
  • Engage and consult with clients and stakeholders including project sponsors and decision-makers on our unique products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations explaining our solutions and services to clients and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with account teams and clients to facilitate workshops to understand client needs and objectives to identify business challenges, develop business cases, reference architectures, and ROI models.
  • Manage the documentation, pricing, and execution of pre-sales deliverables to the account team.
  • Maintain on-going learning and relevant technical knowledge by attending education/industry workshops, reviewing industry publications and interacting with ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate with our product engineering team on product development and roadmap based on client feedback and/or requests.
  • Engage with our account team on solution training and product positioning on opportunity pursuits.
  • Support sales and account management teams through assisting with sales discovery calls, phone/web product sales demonstrations, in person product sales demonstrations, and general industry and technical knowledge
  • Understand client business needs and establish banter products and services as the best solutions that addresses those needs
  • Build, maintain, and present customized, fully integrated product presentations in conjunction with sales reps and account executives
  • Educate internal and external personnel on banter products, solution selling, and implementation and training methodology
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  • Attain quarterly and annual revenue and other objectives as assigned by management
  • Assist in maintaining the integrated sales demo and evaluation environment
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive products and weaknesses as provided by divisional product and business development management
  • Coordinate product and sales training on a quarterly basis, with coordination of sales managers
  • Attend market related trade shows and association meetings to stay current with industry

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SAAS Sales experience to Retail Verticals
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel; strong general computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including corporate writing skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks within desired periods
  • Must be able to create and enhance a system to adapt to the changing environment
  • Strong customer service skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, but know when to escalate
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Maintain a professional appearance and professional demeanor
