Job Description

U.S. Federal Solutions, Inc. (USFS) is a management consulting firm with offices and staff in the DC metro area. USFS was founded in 2010 and provides financial management, acquisition management, program management, and data analytic support services to federal and state governments.

Position Overview:

  • Perform acquisition strategy planning to include assisting and collecting requirement package(s) for contract file from mission partners.
  • Perform reviews and assist in developing Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work with the mission partner.
  • Assist GSA Contracting Officers (CO) and Contract Specialist (CS) with performing, at a minimum, the following functions:
  • Assist the CO/CS with review modification requests for completeness and evaluate IAW the applicable solicitation and SSAC’s processes and procedures.
  • Assist with corresponding with contractors regarding mod requests (i.e. assist with providing status updates, request supporting documentation, etc.)
  • Assist and support CO/CS on execution or rejection of MODS to the MAS, and Supply.
  • Assist the CO/CS by making appropriate updates to the eMod system as needed for final CO execution.
  • Assist with drafting other required internal documentation for MODS (e.g. Memorandums to the File) for MAS and Supply Contracting Officer review and approval.
  • Assist CO/CS with updates to the contract files with the mod documentation.
  • Assist GSA Contracting
  • Assist the CO/CS with researching contract history in preparation for option.
  • Assist CO/CS by gathering option compliance and sales data.
  • Assist the CO/CS with GSA contractors by providing instructions to complete option packages.
  • Assist with ensuring option documents are submitted timely.
  • Assist CO/CS in the preparation of recommendations for MAS and Supply contracts.
  • Assist the CO/CS with drafting approval documents and letters.
  • Assist GSA Contracting Officers (CO) and Contract Specialist (CS) with various special projects by performing functions such as, but not limited to the following:
  • Assist the CO/CS with reviewing workload trackers and updating internal spreadsheets with in-process status.
  • Assist the CO/CS with removal of any Authorized Negotiators that are suspended or debarred.

Work Schedule, Location, and Travel:

  • REMOTE
  • Normal office hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday through Friday.

Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree with 24 credit hours in Business from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of three (3) years of contracting experience in the US Federal Government.
  • All personnel must be proficient in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The candidate shall have an active Public Trust or the ability to quickly obtain a Public Trust (US Citizenship Required).
