Junior Producer- NY Based, Hybrid Work Structure
The Role:
Producers are vital members of the creative team. Expected to assist in the production of content and earned creative ideas. You are a self-starter and ready to roll up your sleeves, managing task-based duties while taking direction from more senior producers to ensure productions are smooth, efficient, and executed to BCW standards. In this role you will execute productions based on a provided scope of work and be expected to assure the project stays on budget, while working in stride with a production crew, editors, account team, art directors, creative directors and any vendors a project may call for. The Work:
- Works both independently and as a contributor across teams to establish project deliverables.
- Assist on project information and briefs for all incoming projects to assess initial production scope and timeline. Assists with budgeting, as needed
- Ensures all project folders are current and up to date
- Collaborates closely with AEs, creative teams, and clients to facilitate content creation and ensure a clear communication line and expectations between production, account service, and client.
- Reports to senior producers on project status.
- Willing and ready to take the lead on managing the post-production workflow, schedules, deadlines and communications for high volume accounts
- Provides coordination support for activations, live-action and animation projects from pre-production through post-production. Provides support on-set, as needed, with opportunities to run smaller sets.
- Facilitation and coordination of all production equipment needs, i.e. rentals/returns, reservations, craft services, production purchases/costs and management of monthly production purchase cards, etc.
- Issues approved POs to vendors.
- Juggles multiple projects, often with competing deadlines.
- Experienced and comfortable with client-facing meetings and presentations.
Experience that contributes to your success:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, new media journalism, communication, or other related field
- 1-3 years of experience in the industry, agency experience is a plus
- Budget and spreadsheet savvy
- Must be comfortable with using/learning budgeting software, Asana, Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Apps (Sheets/Docs/Slides), Vimeo, Teams, Slack, and Frame.io.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
