Launch Finance, a premier financial services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Interim Accounting Manager/Controller for our client located in Kansas City, KS. As the Interim Accounting Manager/Controller, you will be responsible for providing accounting support services to a hospital and healthcare industry client.

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, and billing activities
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and provide monthly financial analysis
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in the healthcare industry is mandatory
• Work onsite at headquarters in Kansas City, KS.

Benefits

Payrate: $40 - $55 per hour commiserate with experience
