Interim Accounting Manager/Controller

Launch Finance, a fast-growing premier financial services firm supporting high-growth startups across various industries, is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager/Controller for a client in the Oil amp; Energy industry. As the Interim Accounting Manager/Controller, you will collaborate with the client's leadership team to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements, as well as provide analytical support to help guide business decisions.

• Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for the client
• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close
• Manage and mentor accounting staff
• Collaborate with the client's other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a focus on accounting operations and financial reporting
• Experience working in the Oil amp; Energy industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Benefits

Payrate: $40 - $55 per hour commiserate with experience

*The interim role is projected to be 3 to 4 months
