Location: Indianapolis, IN. Completed in Sept 2021, POINT's Indianapolis site is one of the largest state-of-the-art radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in the world - almost as large as one and a half football fields.


Reporting to the senior leader in People amp; Culture, the People amp; Culture Manager will be responsible primarily for execution of the day-to-day employee-related and human resources activities. The position formulates partnerships across the People amp; Culture / HR function and business to respond to and deliver value-added service to management and employees that is aligned with the business objectives of the organization. This role has responsibility for both the Manufacturing site and supporting remote and hybrid employees in critical areas of the company. This role will is also responsible for participating in the design and delivery of organizational solutions that will prepare our organization and people for growth.

  • Serve as a point of contact to functional management, the site Manufacturing organization, remote/hybrid workers and operate as a trusted HR business partner by providing cross-functional HR advice, policy guidance, process administration and employee relations support
  • Maintains strong knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to influence solutions, programs and policies. Provide meaningful, accurate, and business-oriented metrics and data that enable senior leaders to clearly understand the health and effectiveness of HR efforts
  • Champions change management and helps position the company for success by cultivating leaders, effective communicators, and empowered employees
  • Responsible for the administrative functions of HR e.g., payroll reporting, system administration, announcements, template letters etc.
  • Takes the pulse of the organization and is actively involved in the employee opinion survey
  • Engages the employees through regularly scheduled meetings to foster the process of exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge
  • Proactively identifies potential employee-relations issues; coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs
  • Recommends programs and/or approaches to attract qualified candidates and retain current employees
  • Responsible for the rollout of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements
  • Participates in compensation activities for the annual compensation cycle, bonuses, rewards and recognition and benefits, promotions, and transfers
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to develop talent acquisition plans that reflect current/future needs and skill gaps for workforce planning. Assist with developing the employee experience for POINT
  • Enables diversity practices across the organization
  • Assists with cross-border/international immigration matters
  • Champions new ideas and initiatives that foster and support creativity, innovation, and risk taking within the organization
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in human resources, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in multiple human resource disciplines
  • Experience with an early-stage company is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop partnerships with the business, with a focus on coaching for results, toolkit development, and career development
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations and policies
