Position is responsible for lead and demand generation in digital channels, and secondarily, in traditional channels. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for creating social media, digital marketing, and email nurture campaigns, print advertisements and events/home shows that target and attract potential customers and build the Company’s brand. Ideal candidates will thrive on researching the latest trends and creating campaigns that bring in qualified leads by: monitoring organic and paid media performance, assisting in creating marketing content (print, digital, video, etc.) and maintain our brand voice consistently across multiple platforms.

The Director of Marketing will manage a $2M+ marketing budget and will be responsible for building upon an internal marketing team of 2 professionals to insource marketing functions and strategies that are largely outsourced to third parties at this time. This position will be tasked to develop a lead management strategy that includes managing internal capabilities and selectively third-party providers. This position requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution of marketing tactics. Your central goals are to help grow the brand, increase qualified lead generation, and reduce the cost of each qualified lead.

The Director of Marketing will have excellent performance driven metric skills to evaluate the success of each campaign and by geographic region. This position will need to evaluate regional market competitive landscapes to recommend the allocation of marketing spend across various marketing channels and geographies. This position requires a strong ability to monitor and analyze marketing program effectiveness.

Strong project amp; vendor management skills are a must.


Responsibilities:

  • Internalize the Company’s marketing strategies that are currently outsourced to 3rd party vendors.
  • Manage and oversee an existing marketing team of 2 people and build the team as needed.
  • Strategize amp; execute on these digital tactics to generate leads for in-home sales;
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Paid Search Ads / Pay-per-click Advertising (PPC)
    • Display Ads, Remarketing and Programmatic
    • Social Media Marketing LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
    • Content Marketing Blogs, Articles, White Papers, Video, etc.
    • Email Nurture Campaigns
    • New lead generation strategies
  • Develop a marketing plan to optimize lead generation.
  • Manage the execution of all marketing efforts with agency providers, consultants, freelancers, including contract negotiation and management, training, managing workloads, schedules and deadlines.
  • Analyze and evaluate marketing performance to continuously improve program effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Oversee social media marketing strategies and content marketing to generate qualified leads.
  • Provide oversight to ensure clear website messaging and call to action (CTA), responsive design, and ease of navigation with good category structure.
  • Identify creative opportunities to enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience successfully executing digital marketing strategies, primarily, and traditional marketing tactics, secondarily.
  • Ability to manage and build a team to support a company’s marketing efforts.
  • Strong, proven vendor management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage a large marketing budget effectively and be able to communicate to executive management on conversion rates, marketing results and return on investments.
  • Experience analyzing Google Analytics reports or alternate analytics platform.
  • Advance computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CRMs and marketing automation a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing principles (including SEO), social media and digital marketing strategies, best practices, and analysis and how they can be applied in a B2C environment.
  • Proficient with using Google Analytics and demonstrated ability to develop, manage and track marketing campaigns using data-based analytics.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with excellent time management skill.
