Job Description
Two openings exists for summer tour guide at Fort Roberdeau Historic Site in Sinking Valley, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Our hires will greet, welcome, and inform all visitors, lead tours of the site, assist with heavy-volume school tour times, ready tour stops in between tours, and perform light cleaning of display areas and the gift shop.
Requirements
Qualified applicants will be at least 16 years old at time of hire and be enrolled in school, or have a high school diploma or GED; dependability and flexibility to be available for what may be varied hours (including weekends); strong customer service orientation, interpersonal relations, and communications skills; and an interest in learning.
Benefits
The hourly wage is $10.00. Position will last approximately 500 hours from approximately April 1 to October 31. Hires must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, and Pennsylvania and federal background checks. EQUAL OPPORUNITY EMPLOYER
