Summary:

Qgiv is looking for a Social Media Specialist to develop and implement content for our social media calendar and communications. In this role, you’ll plan and create social media content to educate customers and prospects and increase public awareness of Qgiv. If you’re a great storyteller, know your way around multiple social media platforms, have a knack for writing and design, and are comfortable being both behind the camera and in front of the camera, we’d love to hear from you! Above all else, our ideal candidate has a desire to learn and grow. Social media is always changing and we’re looking for someone who can embrace Qgiv’s core values of Introspection and Passion to learn anything they might lack in technical experience.

Substantial Position Goals

  • Increase awareness of the Qgiv brand through various forms of social media content strategy and advertising
  • Expand Qgiv’s social reach by improving upon and executing social targeting and advertising strategy
  • Create engaging content for social media based on industry trends and best practices
  • Covert social media followers into top of funnel prospects
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate social analytics and results on a quarterly basis

What to Expect

  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and shared images) request updates as needed
  • Generate consistent high-quality social posts that are in line with Qgiv’s brand standards and written in Qgiv’s voice (e.g. original text, quality photos, videos, and news)
  • Uphold a welcoming, informational, and fun social voice for Qgiv with an emphasis on our passion for our customers and the difference they make
  • Be a brand ambassador, engaging with influential industry leaders, partners, and customers in a dialogue on social media to cultivate relationships and spread awareness of Qgiv
  • Create regular video content (Reels, jumping on differentimplementing TikTok trends, and occasionally getting in front of the camera) to highlight’s Qgiv’s culture and shares fundraising best practices with our audience
  • Demonstrate company culture through inside looks at Qgiv, holiday posts, happenings around the office, etc.
  • Occasionally respond to after-hours messages from customers (no, we don’t expect you to be on Facebook at 2 am!)
  • Create and manage a social media content calendar to ensure design requests, client contact requests, and other supporting materials are submitted and delivered on time
  • Work with the Creative Director and design team to create social media templates and ensure that all graphics, videos, and media adhere to brand guidelines
  • Promote content across social platforms through paid ads, using researched targeting strategies that produce increased reach and product visibility
  • Support webinars, conferences, and events with social coverage
  • Design and implement social media strategy based on current benchmark trends and audience preferences that aligns with busines
