Job Description

We are looking for the right people to join our well-funded, growing open-source company and to help us continue to build exciting technology that makes our users, customers, and partners happy. Right now, we are looking for the right Partner Manager (US) to join our strategic partner team, ideally remotely from the US East Coast. *

Who you are

You are a strategic relationship seller. You are a revenue-oriented relationship builder who can identify a golden partnership opportunity and bring it to fruition but also knows when to walk away. You are tenacious but not pushy, you bring credibility but also empathy. You are a self-starter, and have the confidence to push into the unknown without any promise of success. You have a track record of success in sales, business development, partnerships, or account management at a software company or a global system integrator. You are analytical and use data to make decisions on where to spend time and money.

You should be driven by a strong desire to build and maintain relationships with happy partners and customers, help them solve their problems, and drive joint business. An understanding of data science/data analytics would be really ideal but is not a must-have as we can teach you what you need to know if you are technical. Additional languages beyond English are a bonus. A healthy sense of humor is also always appreciated.

That’s the job

In a nutshell, your job is to recruit, enable, and develop joint business with global system integrators, helping to build those strategic partnerships into a growth engine for new account acquisition, expansion, and customer success in the US and Canada. Ensure that partners are happy and successful and that their customers increase adoption of KNIME over time. You will be the main contact for a portfolio of strategic partners and will work together with our Data Scientists and Solution Engineers to understand their client’s needs, help with evaluations, co-selling, and negotiate contracts. You will support our strategic partners to build internal centers of excellence and drive KNIME adoption and joint business.

We’re looking for someone to join us ideally remotely from the US east coast. Title and compensation are dependent upon experience.
