JOIN THE CAUSE

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Software Engineering Manager to lead and manage our growing Integrations team to support and continue building a highly scalable backend system to support our application. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage and motivate teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a world-class team to support our growing customer base
  • Manage and scale two full-stack development teams comprised of onshore and offshore team members
  • Motivate staff and provide technical direction and guidance as both manager and mentor
  • Own all operational metrics and support, including uptime, performance, and scalability
  • Lead, advance, and develop the company’s engineering processes for product design, review, and release for improved project profitability
  • Be a hands-on leader who is technically involved and helps drive initiatives
  • Define, manage, and enforce engineering standards and methods according to industry best practices
  • Coordinate multiple projects across multiple departments, and drive innovative solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hiring and managing 2+ onshore and offshore engineering teams
  • Experience partnering with product and support teams
  • Experience managing high-volume, scalable, complex, public-facing systems
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
  • 6+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft .NET and SQL database
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing
  • 5+ years of agile development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant years of experience
