We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team at Tiftarea Pediatrics. Valid candidates should hold an active unencumbered LPN license. Previous experience preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus! Must be good with working with children and their families.

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of vital signs and obtain in house lab testing
• Triage patients to rooms.
• Complete quick and accurate intake and charting
• Be a team player
• Administer injections - both medications and immunizations, administer breathing treatments.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Assist Providers with minor procedures
• Communicate with patients and their families in a caring and understanding way

Requirements

• Active LPN License
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
• Good knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Experience with referrals is a plus
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
