Job Description

The Technical Account Manager at McLane Intelligent Solutions will be one of the driving forces of our success. This role will be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with our clients and ensure their technology needs are attended to in a timely fashion. The TAM will also work with the McLane Intel team to ensure "White Glove" service occurs for each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client road map based on company technical stack
  • Develop and maintain client business plan
  • Advocate for the client to ensure their service expectations are being met
  • Analyze client’s needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements
  • Ensure client’s projects are happening quickly and client is aware of project status
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned clients to ensure we are aware of issues they may have and are able to address any concerns
  • Communicate with client POC during emergency issues to ensure they are up to date on the issues and we are aware of any deadlines they may have
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to win new business
  • Meet with Professional Services Team to ensure projects are designed for success prior to quoting
  • Represent the company at various events as needed

Requirements

  • Four year degree in Technology related industry (can be offset by experience)
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Account Manager
  • Minimum of three years of experience communicating with clients regarding technical issues
  • Work with Windows workstations and servers
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 product offerings
  • Familiar with networking topology and concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service
