Job Description

First Division Consulting is seeking a part time (10 hours a week) Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Specialist with our company, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that will help increase our company's visibility and promote our brand. First Division Consulting is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Veteran’s Administration verified service-disabled veteran-owned and small disadvantaged business specializing in acquisition, training, logistics and information technology professional services to a variety of federal agencies. Our Social Media Specialist plays a vital role in our online engagement and communication efforts with our clients, partners, and stakeholders, and we are seeking a talented individual ready to take our social media presence to the next level.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for the company
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create and post engaging content that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
  • Monitor and report on social media analytics to track performance and optimize strategy
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery
  • Manage and grow the company's social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Respond to comments, private messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and news in social media, and incorporate new tactics into our strategy as appropriate

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create compelling content and graphics
  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
