We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Business Development to lead and execute business growth initiatives. The Sr. Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating customer and strategic industry partnerships, and driving revenue generation. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the defense and space industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business strategy.
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field, preferably in the defense and space industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and implement business strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
  • Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
