Job Description

ActivTrak is looking for a driven and customer-focused Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as a dedicated technical resource to ActivTrack’s largest customers. Partnering with a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will manage the technical needs of assigned accounts, maintaining a continual focus on the customer’s business goals to improve their overall technical health and realize the maximum value out of their ActivTrak investment. The TAM maintains awareness of the customer's key events, needs, and will be the primary resource for technical support requests.

The ideal TAM will require a high level of technical aptitude, presentation skills, ability to communicate at various levels of the customer’s organization, constant collaboration with the broader ActivTrak team, accountability, ownership, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be customer-obsessed. We believe understanding the customer experience across pre and post-sales activity helps our team build an amazing product that solves real problems. Getting to know our customers and the challenges they face through conversations, research, and engagement with our community, will be a powerful input into this role.
  • As a trusted advisor, the TAM will possess extensive knowledge of the ActivTrak platform and related products being able to translate business needs into solutions.
  • Collaborate with ActivTrak Sales and CX teams throughout the customer lifecycle in delivering joint customer engagements.
  • Act as an advocate for customers during the triage and resolution of high-severity cases to assist with the timely resolution of these issues.
  • Manage client relationships at all levels and proactively set customers for success through proactive platform optimization.
  • Care deeply about your own productivity. By understanding your own productivity and the productivity of those around you, you gain better insight into our customers’ challenges. We’re looking for someone who wants to talk openly about their own productivity successes for the purpose of innovation and performance elevation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of work experience in one or more of the following: Technical Account Management, Technology Consulting, Technology Solutions Development, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Computing, System Management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive level.
  • Skills for both analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms and for mapping business requirements into technical features.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms to customers, then explain customer needs to internal partners.
  • Experience leading efforts of cross-functional teams to facilitate resolution or disposition of customer needs or projects.

Skills:

  • Advanced Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac applications
  • Experience troubleshooting web applications
  • Networking knowledge: Routing, Firewalls, Proxies, and General Knowledge of Cloud Security Applications.
  • SQL and Python scripting experience
  • Cloud Services: Azure AD, Intune, BigQuery
  • Familiar with BI applications such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio
  • Familiarity with system and policy management applications such as GPO
