At the same time, the transition to digital engagement hasn’t met expectations; lacking unified customer experience, presenting fragmented data and resources, and cumbersome navigation. PrescriberPoint’s human centered design and cutting-edge technology created a core product with easy to use and consistent interfaces to branded products’ discovery and education, timely interaction with life science experts, patient co-pay and prior authorization support and more all in a one-stop-shop. Our next generation pharma marketing platform will go beyond traditional consumer display advertising and use its traffic to engage HCPs in value-added, a la carte experiences that use first party and third-party data to allow pharma brands to engage HCPs on an on-demand basis.

PrescriberPoint is looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to command strategy and execution over the company’s infrastructure and production support assets. Leveraging several cloud platforms for specific products but with most of our assets in Azure, qualified candidates will have deep experience managing web and data processing infrastructure in Kubernetes, and have a background in architecting and implementing highly-available, publicly accessible systems supporting web traffic for content consumption and API distribution.
Responsibilities:
The Principal DevOps Engineer is responsible for the following:
- Planning and deployment of cloud infrastructure to support application development and production deployment of PrescriberPoint software
- Instrumentation and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and deployed applications for reliability, latency, uptime, resource utilization, and cost management
- Assisting in reconciling budget forecasts and actuals with regard to cloud spend to support development and production deployment. Proposing optimizations to ensure that scaling of operations has predictable impact on costs and is accounted for in budgeting
- Accelerating feature delivery and deployment timelines by providing development teams with support to manage and automate application deployments using CI/CI pipelines, GitOps, etc.
- Responding to outages or downtime and providing updates to stakeholders on service restoration timelines, communicating root cause analysis and building in redundancies as needed to prevent downtime of critical systems
- Working closely with the CTO and compliance officers to ensure that systems are auditable and the appropriate access controls, backup systems, and monitoring is in place and functional
Requirements:
- Deep experience managing high-availability web applications and sites on cloud infrastructure, with demonstrable recent experience using Azure
- Expertise in managing application deployment and orchestration of application containers on Kubernetes, including experience architecting complex, multi-node pool environments to support heterogeneous workloads and configurations
- Expertise authoring and maintaining Terraform modules to support a universal infrastructure as code (IaC) approach
- Deep experience managing Linux-based systems and containers, supporting containerized application deployment on Ubuntu or Alpine
