About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing sales and marketing team. This position will lead a team based in Philadelphia and London,?focused on delivering repeatable and profitable pipeline, working closely with the sales and marketing teams. This position will provide leadership and planning as well as coaching and training to drive the very best results for the business. The successful candidate for this role should thoroughly understand outbound activities as well as the optimization of inbound using modern sales prospecting practices, sales opportunity qualification and have a proven track record of leading teams of BDE’s in the SaaS technology sector. Proficient use of sales and marketing systems as well as metrics and measurements are key to this role. A passion for coaching, mentoring and developing others is essential, as well as thriving in a rapid change and growth environment.

This is an exciting time to join Orgvue as we scale our business and expand the Revenue function. This position will report to our CRO and is a key contributor to the overall success of the business.

What you will be doing

  • Develop your team’s skills for outbound prospecting, inbound optimization, qualifying, meeting setting and opportunity creation
  • Closely monitor activity metrics and KPIs with the aim to increase productivity and pipeline generation
  • Coach, develop, and mentor the team through weekly 1-on-1s, joint call sessions, weekly activity metrics, monthly targets, skills development plans, etc
  • Develop and deliver a curriculum for prospecting and sales development best practices
  • Work closely with the Account Executives to ensure proper alignment on account coverage, target personas, opportunity quality and BDE to AE hand-off

Requirements

Knowledge amp; Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related subject
  • 2-3 years of experience managing a sales development, outbound prospecting and/or inside sales team, preferably in the SaaS technology sector and in global locations
  • Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes
  • Expertise in using Salesforce.com required
  • Proficient with sales development tools such as LinkedIn, InsideView, and HubSpot/SalesHub,

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Challenger sales methodology
  • Experience with target enterprise account selling and/or account-based marketing
