At Measurabl, the Commercial Paralegal is an integral member of the legal team and will be responsible for handling multiple legal-related tasks and ownership of managing the contract lifecycle from start to finish.
Essential Functions amp; Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Review and negotiation of commercial contracts and transactions
- Identify issues within contracts and recommend language to achieve resolution
- Manage communications and collaborate with internal teams to drive deals to execution
- Process internal requests within the organization's legal support ticketing system and ensure timely responses and resolution
- Lead the management and administration of Measurabl’s commercial contract portfolio with an emphasis on scaling support to assist with Measurabl’s rapid growth
- Advise internal partners on contract-related questions, tasks and best practices, using discretion and priority setting skills to escalate as necessary
- Work with our Contracts and Legal Operations Manager to drive progress on the legal team and cross functional corporate projects
- Look for opportunities and take the initiative to improve processes that will positively impact the legal team and its counterparts and help us scale
- Pitch in on other special projects as needed; flexibility and a willingness to contribute in both small and big ways

- Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve problems and promptly answer questions, leveraging effective communication and strong writing skills

- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program and 3+ years of commercial contracting experience
- Adept at technical tools, including G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and e-signature tools
- Experience with Slack and Jira is a plus
- Experience negotiating software/SaaS and vendor agreements is a plus
- Experience and/or passion in the sustainability/ESG space or commercial real estate industry is a bonus

Compensation Range:
- $84,601 to $103,401 + DOE
