We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our team of art directors, creative directors, strategists and copywriters to develop and execute designs. Client work is within the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology space; and their key audiences, include patients and healthcare professionals. This role requires a designer that is both strategic and creative and must have a strong attention to detail. An understanding of designing within the healthcare landscape is a definite plus.
Responsibilities
- Execute high quality design; from concept through production. An extremely sharp eye for details is a must
- Partner with content and strategy to develop multi-channel campaigns
- Collaborate with CD and AD on larger design programs and how they’ll translate into client assets
- Adapt designs to a range of media including print, digital, social, video and animation,
- Design flawlessly within various brand guidelines while exploring innovation solutions
- Simplify research to convey educational or strategic messages in a way that approachable, original, and engaging
- Confidently present creative concepts to peers, leadership and clients
- Manage multiple rounds of revisions in a complex regulatory process
- Design production work for print and digital
Requirements
- 5+ years design experience and great design sensibility
- BFA/BA in Graphic Design or similar
- A portfolio highlighting a mastery of design fundamentals (typography, color theory, layout, etc)
- Experience working iteratively with content creators, and managing feedback and expectations
- Patience to learn and work through complex ideas to find elegant and accessible solutions
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Expertise and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Experience in quality presentation design
- Highly proficient in Acrobat, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of social media requirements and the tools for delivering for each platform
- Understanding of UX and UI design principles
- An ability to have fun while working hard in a fast-paced environment
