You may wonder why this role is open. Our Talent Manager has joined another team in a new role. She joins a long line of folks who have moved around the company for the purpose of career development.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • This role is based in Hudson, New Hampshire, and you will be working on-site three days each week
  • We ask important questions during this process. It's our way of handing you the mic so you can tell us your story. Please don't miss that part and take your time answering the questions.

Requirements

YOUR JOB: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use innovative, highly effective branded recruiting content and tools
  • Ensure fair, equitable hiring practices are in place, understood, and upheld
  • Gather market and industry data to ensure our roles and compensation are competitive
  • Manage the process of completing and updating compliant and accurate job descriptions for each role
  • Ensure all hiring managers are educated and equipped to use our recruiting and hiring tools as intended
  • Communicate with all candidates, verbally and in writing, consistent with Life is Good brand standards
  • Expertly use our ATS and related workflows
  • Deliver a diverse candidate pool through traditional and new channels
  • Write and deliver offer letters to chosen candidates
  • Conduct thorough references and background checks for each hire
  • Share results of recruiting efforts quarterly using a talent dashboard
  • Manage the consistently effective process of announcing new hires
  • Proactively acquire all the first-day-of-work tools and assets in time for a great first-day experience
  • Use candidate and hiring manager feedback to constantly improve and simplify all talent processes
  • Conduct post-hire surveys and use data to improve the new employee experience

  • You have successfully recruited talented people for all functional areas and job types in a related industry
  • You are a natural storyteller and can help others envision what you are describing
  • You understand and can simply explain the key requirements for each role in a mid-sized lifestyle brand
  • You are skilled at training hiring managers to interview and evaluate candidates
  • You demonstrate interviewing, listening skills, and excellent judgment
  • You build the skills, experience, and judgment of hiring managers
