The Agile and DevOps team (ADO) is looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to partner closely with our ADO Head of Product and extended leadership leadership team and provide strategic support in managing day-to-day operations, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering effective decision-making. The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor to our Head of Product and other senior executives, enabling seamless communication, orchestrating key initiatives, and ensuring successful execution. - Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Head of Product and executive team to define and execute Atlassian's strategic goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization.
- Operations Optimization: Streamline operational processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and drive effective resource allocation to enhance overall productivity.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration and communication among different departments and teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a culture of transparency and shared goals.
- Project Management: Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives, overseeing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Gather and analyze relevant data to generate insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making at the executive level.
- Change Management: Champion and support organizational change efforts, facilitating smooth transitions and fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
- Leadership Development: Support the professional growth and development of team members, fostering a culture of learning and providing mentorship and guidance.
- Extensive professional experience solving complex problems in fast-growing organizations.
- Experience turning strategy into executable plans and driving high visibility projects, using facilitative leadership to build trust, influence collaboration, and coach toward the goal.
- The ability to understand the needs of different audiences and disseminate information, adjusting the level and type of information at the right time accordingly.
- Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving them to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great.
- High EQ, increase people engagement, nurture interpersonal connections, surfacing team needs.
- An analytic prowess, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences.
- The humility to augment the leader with the single purpose of making the TEAM successful.
