ProVal Technologies is a technology consulting firm for Managed IT Service providers, helping them navigate and manage their suite of technology products to support end-customers. Our team helps MSP's leverage best-practices and efficiencies across their tools and technologies, to make MSP's more efficient and profitable. ProVal also takes on operational capabilities in managing non customer-facing work for MSP's so they can focus their teams on building customer relationships.
We are looking for an Accounting amp; Finance Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial plans, drive financial success, and support business growth.

Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and track financial performance against budget and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and evaluate investment opportunities.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Provide clear and concise financial reports, payroll reports, and benefit reports.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions through rigorous review and analysis.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Streamline financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with finance employee in India division to execute on quarterly and annual goals.
Strategic Financial Management:
- Partner with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support investment decisions and business expansion.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state taxes; well versed in the states remote employees reside.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, such as CPA, to file corporate taxes and filings and complete financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to client billing and collections.
Client Billing and Collections
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients based on agreed-upon terms and billing schedules.
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable aging report to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Establish effective communication channels with clients to address any billing inquiries or discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field; experience in a technology company or a fast-paced industry is preferable.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- In depth knowledge and experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
