World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
Position Overview
In a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Processing Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the Processing department and staff in connection with the company’s origination of short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans.
Essential Functions
- Manage Processing department, including recruiting/training and ongoing management of staff, ensuring SLAs are consistently achieved
- Work to continually push loan flow forward through the pipeline, moving files to closing with all deadlines and conditions met
- Investigate and resolve complicated loan escalations and maintain exceptional communication with internal and external parties (including borrowers, brokers and third party vendors)
- Verify loan packages for accuracy and completeness, including review of credit, income, asset documentation, transcripts, title, appraisal and other related documentation
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures and SLAs to ensure effective pipeline management
- Guide Processing staff on efficient processing and excellent customer service, including communicating clearly with borrowers using the most effective communication medium to obtain required information/documents and answer any questions
- Maintain a working pipeline of 10-20 loans
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- 7+ years’ work experience in U.S. commercial loan origination (preferably, real estate collateralized) or a mortgage lending organization (commercial or residential)
- Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of loan processing and pipeline management
- Experience managing a team of Processors and driving performance to meet SLAs
- Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and computer skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with proactive approach and excellent follow-through skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Compensation package $80K - $100K
