SHAFONS Recruitment Services is seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our team in Dubai. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Android app development, with a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Android app development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team members as needed.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
Job Specification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Android app development.
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
