Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at HubSpot, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing relationships with potential customers. Your primary objective will be to identify and connect with decision-makers in businesses, educate them about HubSpot's products and services, and schedule meetings for the sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with prospects and build relationships.
  • Strong phone presence and active listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools (experience with HubSpot CRM is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of inbound marketing and sales methodologies is a plus.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
  • Engage with leads through phone calls, emails, and social media platforms to understand their needs and educate them about HubSpot's solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their potential as customers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and consistently meet or exceed targets and quotas.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in HubSpot's CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates to effectively articulate HubSpot's value proposition.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge and understanding of HubSpot's products, features, and benefits.
