Job Description

At eJam, we're seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to join our team as an HR Coordinator/Office Administrator. This entry-level role will primarily focus on recruitment, in addition to general human resources functions, office management, and administrative tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to establish a career in HR and office administration within a dynamic and growing eCommerce company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment

  1. Assist in recruitment efforts including posting job descriptions, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
  2. Work closely with hiring managers to understand the skills and competencies required for various roles.
  3. Facilitate the hiring process, conducting background checks and extending offers to qualified candidates.

Human Resources

  1. Support onboarding activities for new hires and coordinate orientation sessions.
  2. Schedule and coordinate quarterly check-ins and annual reviews for all team members.
  3. Help process employee benefits and assist with open enrollment.
  4. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Office Management

  1. Maintain an organized and efficient office environment, managing supplies and equipment as needed.
  2. Assist in the coordination of office activities and schedule maintenance as needed.
  3. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.

Administrative Tasks

  1. Provide administrative support including meeting preparation and file management.
  2. Assist in managing building access control, and maintaining a log of keys and security cards.

Requirements

  1. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Interest or basic experience in human resources and office management.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
