The Role

Paro is hiring a contract Recruiter to support our staffing needs for a period of time. You will work directly with our Recruitment team to help engage, qualify, and hire top talent to join Paro.

Your responsibilities include advertising jobs for our various roles, conducting screening calls, and scheduling interviews. Your impact will extend through the offer extension and closing phase of new candidates. You should have experience in the full recruitment life cycle and various recruiting methods in your arsenal. If you are also a strong communicator and comfortable forming hiring strategies, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive by hiring the most qualified people.

The salary for this position will be: $30 per hour

Employment Type: Contract - 40 hrs per week - 6 months

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Paro team members to understand hiring manager requirement and develop a comprehensive understanding of the roles you will be responsible for
• Utilize various sourcing strategies (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks) to attract a diverse pool of highly qualified talent
• Screen and interview candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit with Paro
• Conduct thorough reference checks on potential candidates
• Present qualified candidates to stakeholders and coordinate interviews, providing feedback and updates throughout the hiring process
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation and acceptance
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates and provide an exceptional candidate experience
• Track metrics to celebrate successes and uncover opportunities for improvement in the hiring process

How You'll Add Value

• At least 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience preferably in a high volume fast-paced recruitment environment
• Proven work experience as a Recruiter, preferably in a contract or agency setting, with a focus on finance and accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting positions, job market dynamics, and industry-specific qualifications.
• Familiarity with various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and direct sourcing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Solid interviewing and assessment skills to evaluate candidates' technical and soft skills.
• Familiarity with sales KPIs and sales industry terminology to leverage as part of the hiring process
• Experience working with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) (we currently leverage Workable as our ATS)
• Impeccable organization skills in order to manage a number of open requisitions and tight deadlines
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
