We are currently seeking a talented Coordinator to join the People Operations team. As a People Operations Coordinator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our organization’s human resources and operational processes.

The ideal candidate for this role thrives in fast paced and exciting environments and is a self-starter. This is a hybrid role in which you will be located in the St. Louis, MO area.

The Job

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Human Resources related inquiries
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records, such as employee data, compensation, benefits, and performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, including legal and regulatory requirements across multiple states
  • Acts as an administrator of HCM System, Paylocity, to input, edit, and track data for related tasks and initiatives
  • Assists with talent planning and performance management
  • Supports the strategy and design for employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborates with team to develop communication and change management plans in support of organizational development
  • Assist with job description creation, job profiles
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Conduct employee interviews including onboarding, stay, and exits
  • Prepare reports on personnel metrics and other HR related matters
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, management, and external vendors
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of People Operations
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a Human Resources role
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and processes
  • Understanding of employee benefits and compensation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR administrative functions, laws, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS (Paylocity a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
