IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Mid-Level Cybersecurity Analyst- Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our DOD customer. This position is contingent upon Proposal submittal and award of final contract. All offers will be contingent on final award. ITC will communicate timeline and next steps for all roles. The ISSO will be Responsible for:
- Responsible for testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software.
- Duties may include protecting, configuring and managing servers and computers systems, installing software and system patches, troubleshooting and maintaining integrity, and improving reliability and security.
- May also include device scanning (device discovery, Operating System (OS) fingerprinting, service scanning), and passive (non-intrusive) scanning, monitoring and operating intrusion detection systems.
Location: Washington DC area
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or other related field.
- 3-10 years of ISSO experience.
- Must have Active TS/SCI clearance to be considered.
Preferred:
- Current Information Assurance Manual Level II certification at time of proposal submission.
- Ability to obtain access to the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) NLT 30 days from contract award.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Functional integration and implementation of security concepts within government networks
- Experience with authorization and accreditation on government or classified networks
- Working knowledge of XACTA or eMASS
- Understanding of NIST 800-53 Revision 4 and Committee on National Security Systems Instructions (CNSSI) 1253
- Knowledge of device hardening concepts and implementation with relation to ACAS and STIG processes
