We are seeking a Head of Marketing Strategy amp; Activation for our Dining amp; Convenience business unit to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker with deep experience in Marketing, Loyalty amp; CRM in the Food, Hospitality, and/or C-Store spaces and has demonstrable cross-channel marketing expertise across the owned, earned and paid ecosystems (e.g., email, paid and organic search, paid media, paid and organic social, etc.). Critical to this role will be guiding teams and clients alike on what, where, and when to activate marketing programs, as well as how to optimize spend across channels to meet business and marketing objectives relative to key audience segments.In addition, this role is a leader, mentor and coach, nurturing high performing teams, and building strong relationships (internally and externally) to accelerate growth for clients and prospects. As such, this role will closely collaborate with others in the Strategy, Activation amp; Insights Community to drive company-wide goals and initiatives, cross-channel excellence, and the execution, evolution, and application of Bounteous’ strategic activation plans within the Dining amp; Convenience Business Unit.Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure client satisfaction amp; drive growth of existing amp; net-new marketing-related spend among Dining amp; C-Store BU accounts, displaying an ownership mentality
  • Build and adapt practice-level offerings across all of Bounteous for the Dining BUSupport cross-selling of additional services to support end-to-end brand experience activation (Loyalty Strategy, CRO, Media, Analytics, Campaign Management, on-premise, e-commerce, delivery, curbside)
  • Oversight of key accounts within Dining amp; C-Store
  • Serve as an expert for Loyalty, CRM, and omnichannel activation, as well as a trusted advisor and client influencer
  • Leads and mentors talent within Dining amp; Convenience to create high-performing teams
  • Works with leadership / supports team in removing roadblocks, mitigating and resolving account, team and morale issues
  • Provides thought leadership such as speaking at conferences, authoring or contributing to articles, blog posts and supporting other Bounteous marketing efforts
  • Active participant in Dining BU and Practice leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with marketing strategy activation including hands-on experience leading and managing marketing programs deployed across multiple channels
  • Proven track record of assessing client digital marketing maturity, understanding stakeholder needs, and facilitating prioritization of an activation roadmap of program activities
  • Working with channel owners to translate business objectives into marketing objectives to drive cross-channel harmonization and innovation
  • Working with analytics leads to set the learning agenda for analysis and provide business requirements for work in measurement, reporting, and analysis
  • Using the results of analysis to communicate program success and persuade account and client stakeholders for expansion and investment
  • Excellent business acumen proven ability to think strategically about business, customer experience, and technical challenges; an entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers for Bounteous and its clients
  • Analytical extremely comfortable with structuring and analyzing data, using it to tell a story, identify optimization opportunities and drive decisions; experience in working closely with data teams in support of marketing activation
  • Highly collaborative skilled at building relationships and bringing people together around a common set of goals/objectives, highly organized, and has leadership-level communication; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
  • Consulting agency experience preferred
  • Experience in Dining, Restaurant, Food, Hospitality, and/or C-Store industries; and with multiple customer and influencer models (e.g., franchisees, owned stores, Private Equity ownership, etc.)
