Job Description
Security Risk Advisors is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated candidate to join our Business Operations Team as an Accountant. The Accountant will work with our accounting team on critical financial functions, maintain records, and develop our accounting systems and procedures.
Members of the Business Operations Team are expected to work across and support all business functions as necessary, but you will be primarily responsible for:
- Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- Banking
- Accounting file maintenance
- Month-end closing
- Special projects
Requirements
Preferred competencies:
- Highly detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks and projects
- Fast learner
- Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
This is an in-person role at our Center City Philadelphia office, located at 1600 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. The standard hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm EDT, with work capped at 40 hours per week.
This co-op would run from September 2023 to March 2024 and is only open to students from Drexel University.
