As an Analyst, you support all aspects of ISG’s client-facing projects with direction from ISG’s experienced management team. In addition, you use your superpowers in consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis to assist client decision-making at private equity (PE) and Fortune 500 companies. Specific job responsibilities and activities that showcase your consulting prowess could include the following:

  • Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
  • Create and present robust sourcing strategies and recommendations to client executives
  • Support new product/service development within ISG and help launch new offerings
  • Develop insights in a specific industry working for a Center of Excellence (COE)
  • Coordinate communications with internal and external project team
  • Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders
  • Understand how to create consensus among client stakeholders

Typical projects include:

  • Strategic sourcing (both within Fortune 500 companies and across private equity portfolios)
  • Process reengineering
  • Spend analysis and savings opportunity diagnostic
  • Pre-purchase due diligence
  • Make vs. buy decision analysis
  • Benchmarking and best practices implementation

It also helps if you can demonstrate the following areas:

  • 0-1 year of management consulting and/or relevant internship experience
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated project management, consulting, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
  • Proficient at building and nurturing client relationships; proven client-facing skills
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel amp; PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
  • Deep analytical expertise with big data and exposure to Alteryx or Python is valued but not required
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong GPA from a well-regarded institution
  • Requirement to relocate to Atlanta
