Responsibilities and Duties
We currently have an opening for a Mid-Level Procurement Professional with at least six (6) years of Procurement Analyst (or) Contracting and Procurement experience supporting a Federal or DoD acquisition office is preferred. The experience can be either as a federal/DoD government employee or as a contractor supporting a Federal or DoD agency or combination of both.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the government in researching and drafting specifications and standards, developing performance measures, coordinating requirements documents.
- Perform strategic needs assessments to identify needs for services, supplies, equipment.
- Define solicitation criteria for suppliers.
- Plan, develop and establish purchasing strategies for major procurements.
- Perform industry trend analysis to expand and improve the supplier base.
- Provide technical direction and guidance on procurement and material logistics activities.
- Assist in the research and analysis of past purchases of similar products or services, current market value of product or services, and other purchases of similar products and services.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- At least six (6) years of federal or DoD procurement experience
- Bachelor's Degree minimum
- Supply management certification is preferred (e.g., CPSP, CPIM, or CSCP) but public procurement certifications (CPPO and CPPB) will also be considered.
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.
- The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check.
- Must be a US Citizen
