Home Sweet Home In-Home Care is currently leading Southwest Michigan with high quality home care services. If you are client focused with the sincere desire to motivate our team to provide exceptional in-home care resulting in healthy, satisfied clients, then we want you on our team!

We are seeking to hire a motivated individual for our growing Kalamazoo location. As a scheduler/supervisor your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure schedule is completed in such a way as to retain all clients, hours,caregivers and to minimize overtime
• Assure that the schedule is current and up to date at any given time
• Match caregivers with client needs/preferences
• Communicate staffing and availability needs to appropriate supervisor and Human Resource Manager
• Handle inbound/outbound client/caregiver phone calls
• Ensure services provided exceed client's expectations
• Data entry and other clerical duties as needed
• Motivate caregivers to work as a team.
• Enforce company policies
• Maintain regular office hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and participate in on call rotation which will include some evenings and weekends.
• Report to Branch Manager

Requirements

Qualifications Include

• Must be familiar with the area
• Minimum 1 year scheduling experience preferred
• Some management experience preferred
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude even when things get hectic
• Knowledgeable of caregiver's duties gained from experience as a caregiver preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Able to use or learn scheduling software
• Organized and detail oriented
• Able to follow instructions and work with little or no supervision
• Able to pass all pre-employment background screen
