Job Description
- Production Scheduler / Planner reports to the Purchasing and Scheduling Manager.
- Work experience outweighs higher education.
- Responsible for managing a group of customers for multiple locations
- Receives, enters and maintains customer orders and forecast in Epicor ERP system
- Creates and maintains build schedules for factory production using Epicor ERP system
- Involved in the production process and inventory accuracy of product
- Tracks progression of production orders, investigate factors that affect schedules, and modify plans as necessary.
- Currently Pamp;S Office has 4 employees on staff, supporting three production locations.
- Communicates with Customers, KGM Plant Managers and Supervisors throughout the day as needed to ensure schedules and deadlines are met to insure on time delivery to customers.
- Is involved in inventory control and focus groups.
Requirements
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), as well as ERP systems. Epicor experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must exhibit good time management and problem solving skills. Must have strong organizational and decision making skills.
- Occasional travel to other KGM locations may be required (about 3-4 times per year).
- Excellent email and telecommunication skills.
- Understanding of BOM's.
- Must be willing to be hands on and not operate totally behind a desk
- Promptness, accuracy and dedication.
- Good attendance and punctuality a must.

Attributes:
- Familiarity with welding, fabrication and assembly operations.
- English is our primary language, but extra consideration will be given to those who speak fluent Spanish.
- Basic understanding of 5s, Lean Manufacturing, Process Flow, and ISO 9001. Previous training in these areas is preferred.
- Print reading and interpretation.
- CPIM certification or other.
- Strong willingness and desire to learn.

Excellent pay for those that can perform, 10 paid holidays + 1 week vacation after 6 months, 2 weeks after 18 months, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10.
Medical, dental and vision insurance is offered at very reasonable rates. Family coverage is approximately $84 per week.
